Software Engineering Intern

Servera is a software development platform for building backend services and integrations for full-stack applications. By combining the coding and system design aspect, deployment, and hosting onto one platform, Servera aims to provide people without thorough knowledge of programming with the ability to build fully production-level apps.

Servera is seeking a software engineering intern to assist in implementing third-party integrations that provide real-world use cases for users. Please note that this role is unpaid, and is a volunteer position. This internship is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience with full-stack web development, MCP prompting for LLM models, and software development principles related to industry-standard technologies.

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or any related STEM fields (preferred, but not required for this role).

• Experience and proficiency in Python, Java (Spring Boot), SQL (MySQL, SQLite)

• Familiarity with frontend web development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js) and Tailwind

• Understanding of LLMs, AI prompting, and MCP

• Strong problem solving and creativity skills

• Eager to learn about new technologies and adapt (coding with Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

• Experience with user-friendly UI/UX design

• Experience with DevOps technologies (Git, Github actions, Docker, Linux)
